The MEC sling, like all things from this highly respected German equipment maker, is beautifully engineered. It affords you far greater adjustments than nearly any other sling on the market. The centerpiece of the design is the ability to control where the pressure on your upper arm is located, and that allows you to minimize any pulse showing up in your hold. In addition, you can adjust the size of the arm cuff of course, plus the length by way of the in-line micro-adjustment.
The main length is a single strip of extremely strong, non-stretch, multi-layer industrial material. This means less material to get in your way. It has buckle holes aong the entire lenght of the material.
It also allows the sling to attach to the handstop by way of a button-type clutch, which is designed specifically to work with the MEC Stop and it's two connecting points. You can attach it high, away from the hand, or low, so that it compresses your hand against the stock.
