The FAT 3 SLIM is a  3 ^ generation FAT in the CICOGNANI's  production and is a model  with a slightly narrower silhouette than a traditional FAT.

DESCRIPTION: the FAT (Fly Away Turner)  is a device to be applied to the muzzle of the barrel to optimize the relation between the barrel’s vibration and the time period when the bullet leaves the barrel.

DIVISION: the FAT are divided into FAT of 2^ or 3 ^ generation depending on the variations made by the manufacturer and in particular by the number of fixing screws to the barrel. Then it’s divide into LIGHT, STANDARD, HEAVY with REMOVABLE WEIGHT. As a further variant, the FAT can mount an EXTENSION which can be removable (SHORT or LONG) or FIXED.

INSTALLATION: the FAT is applied to the barrel by means of a PVC interchangeable bushing and fixed by two or three screws. The measure of the diameter of the bushing must be provided by the customer.

TURBO: as a variant to all models of FAT and on the customer's request, they can be equipped with a device called TURBO that has the purpose of channeling in the best way the outlet gas in a manner that interferes as little as possible with the straight flight of ball.

SETTING: once applied, the FAT has to be set by turning clockwise or anticlockwise to find the smallest shot pattern. There is not a predetermined point, for every rifle has its own peculiar vibrations.

MAINTENANCE: the FAT doesn’t need maintenance, excepted during barrel maintenance.
